Data-Driven Electrical Machines Structural Model Using the Vibration Synthesis Method

This article proposes a data-driven structural modeling approach for electrical machine airborne vibration that can be used both in the design stage fast optimization routines and system-level simulations. method is able to capture in-plane out-of-plane modal behavior along with local effects, such as tooth bending. The model relies on fitting unitary force-shape responses transfer function models using zero-pole representation. These frequency response functions are obtained from applying synthesis process series of finite-element (FE) stator have material properties updated experimental analysis. zeros poles construct three lookup table their accuracy varying between them number samples data generation process. these validated at level four FE samples. Also, run-up spectrogram level, validated, good results, radial tangential force excitation an electromagnetic interior permanent magnet (PM) synchronous designed electric power steering. computational cost compared standard shown.
